Atlanta Beltline Video

This is a very nice video on the Atlanta Beltline project, posted by Vimeo user michael davidson. The photography is beautiful and I also enjoyed hearing Beltline Tour Guide Angel Poventud’s comments about the project being a way for Atlanta to shape its growth over the next 100 years in a smart direction.

It’s an exciting time to be living intown in Atlanta with the Beltline, the downtown streetcar and the Ponce City Market projects all under construction at the same time.

Despite the fact that I sometimes bitch and moan about our city’s less commendable past developments, seeing this video and keeping up with the progress of the other projects makes me feel very positive about Atlanta’s future as a good urban place.
